New ATP XXIII CLP
On June 20, 2025, Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/1222 of April 2, 2025, amending Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 CLP on the classification, labeling, and packaging of substances and mixtures, was published. This amendment primarily concerns manufacturers, distributors, and importers of chemical preparations and cosmetics.
The European Commission has updated the list of harmonized classification and labeling entries. Some have been added and some revised.
This XXIII ATP introduces 22 new substances into Annex VI and confirms the amendments for 10 other substances already classified.
Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/1222 will enter into force on July 10, 2025, and will be applicable from February 1, 2027.
