Regulation (EU) 2023/2055 – Restriction of microplastics
Last 09/25/2023, Regulation (EU) 2023/2055 was adopted which modifies Annex XVII of REACH by adding an entry regarding microparticles of synthetic polymers (microplastics), effectively prohibiting their placing on the market.
The objective of this regulation is to limit the amount of microplastics intentionally added to products.
